In 2022 PFD volunteers responded to 424 incidents including:
– 18 Fires (10 structure fires)
– 61 Rescues (25 motor vehicle accidents & 17 elevator rescues)
– 71 Hazardous Conditions (35 natural gas leaks & 14 carbon monoxide)
– 23 Service Calls(6 cover assignments for other FD’s)
– 26 Good Intent
– 224 False Alarms

Members completed over 6,000 hours of in-house training and 1,000 hours of outside training.
Members also hosted our Fire Fighters Parade, Fire Prevention Open House, Annual Inspection, School Visits, and numerous fire prevention visits to the firehouse from local organizations.
Each week, squads completed equipment and apparatus checks to make sure everything is response ready.
PFD is always looking for new members. No experience is needed, all training is provided for FREE, and the time commitment is flexible and accommodating. Residents age 16+ are welcomed to join!
