NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Proposed 2026 Budget of the Pleasantville Fire District of the Town of Mount Pleasant, State of New York, will be presented to the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Pleasantville Fire District, for its consideration.

A PUBLIC HEARING will be held at 7:30 PM at Pleasantville Fire Headquarters, 75 Washington Avenue, Pleasantville, New York 10570 in the Town of Mount Pleasant, State of New York on October 21, 2025 to allow any person to be heard in favor of or against the proposed budget as it is submitted, or for or against any item or items contained in the proposed budget, and to hear all interested persons.

A copy of the proposed budget is available at the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Mount Pleasant at 1 Town Hall Plaza, Valhalla, New York 10595 during regular business hours or on the Town of Mount Pleasant website at www.mtpleasantny.com and the office of the Fire District Secretary-Treasurer at Pleasantville Fire Headquarters, 75 Washington Avenue, Pleasantville, New York 10570 where it may be inspected by any interested person. Interested people may also obtain a copy by sending an e-mail to: Secretary@pfdny.org.

NOTICE OF 2025 MEETING SCHEDULE Please take notice that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Pleasantville Fire District will hold its regular monthly meeting on the third Tuesday of each month in 2025 beginning January 21, 2025. Please take further notice that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Pleasantville Fire District will hold a Work Session on February 11, 2024 for the purpose of opening and reading sealed bids for the Headquarters Kitchen Project and thereafter Work Sessions will be held at the call of the Chair on the second Tuesday of a month in 2025. All such meetings will be held at 7:30PM in the Meeting Room, Pleasantville Fire Headquarters, 75 Washington Avenue, Pleasantville, New York.
