Annual Inspection
On Saturday May 14, Pleasantville Fire Department participated in our Annual Inspection. For weeks, members cleaned and inspected hand tools, SCBA’s, hose lines, apparatus and various other items. What was once done by companies, was now completed by participating department members.
The evening of inspection, both the apparatus and members are “judged” by the Westchester County Ex-Chiefs Judges. Participating in the overview of our apparatus and membership, are local dignitaries and neighboring department officials.
Following the inspection, awards and honors were presented to the previous year’s most active members and lengths of service. This year’s inspection winner was presented to Tower Ladder 5. The cleaning and preparation was completed by Squads 1, 6, 10 and overseen by LT Belmont (2375).
