On this 20th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the members of the Pleasantville Vol. Fire Department would like to thank all first responders who answered the call of duty on that day and the days that followed. We would also like to take a moment to remember all the first responders and civilians who perished on that day and since due to 9/11 related illnesses.
On 9/11/01 and the days that followed, PFD volunteers answered the call and responded to NYC on Tower Ladder 5, Engine 259 and Engine 260. We also have current members who responded with other departments, before joining PFD.

Public Notice: The fire horn will sound two blasts at 8:46 am, 9:03 am, 9:37 am, and 10:03 am in recognition of the four 9/11/01 plane crashes.
